ABOUT ATELIER BLIZZARD
Atelier Blizzard is an independent creative house and publisher founded by multidisciplinary artist Aaron Blizzard.
Working across books, periodicals, photography, poetry, performance, and visual storytelling, the Atelier develops works as complete artistic worlds. Each with its own language, atmosphere, and form.
Atelier Blizzard was created as a home for work that moves freely between disciplines and resists the limits of a single medium.
AARON BLIZZARD
Founder & Creative Director
Aaron Blizzard is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, creative director, and professional dancer working across poetry, photography, performance, publishing, and visual storytelling.
He founded Atelier Blizzard as an independent home for his creative work and as a framework through which future publications, collaborations, exhibitions, and cultural projects could be developed.
His debut artist book, INK, is the first major work published by the Atelier.
THE ATELIER
An atelier is traditionally a place of making: a studio where ideas are developed through experimentation, craft, and close attention.
Atelier Blizzard carries that spirit into publishing and contemporary art. A book may become an exhibition. A photograph may become an artifact. A periodical may become an archive of a culture still being imagined.
The Atelier exists to give each work the space, form, and presentation it requires. Without forcing every project to resemble the one before it.
A HOUSE IN DEVELOPMENT
Atelier Blizzard is being built one work at a time. Its future will include new publications, editions, exhibitions, collaborations, and creative experiments. Each developed with the same commitment to concept, craft, and complete artistic presentation.
